About Outage History
Outage History is a research prototype that preserves public Hydro-Quebec outage observations to help understand interruptions across time and place.
Data sources
The app uses Hydro-Quebec's public Info-pannes feeds for current outages, planned interruptions, markers, and polygons. It also adds published access-to-information documents when they are available.
What the archive means
The archive is not an official complete list. It reflects what this system has observed and retained. Previously seen outages are grouped to show local or territorial patterns, but address-level attribution remains inferred.
Address, location, and privacy
You can search by address or use the browser's current-location feature. Location is used only to calculate the requested local context. The app avoids presenting those results as official address-level proof.

Limitations
Hydro-Quebec polygons are approximate, public feeds can change, and disclosure documents only cover published requests. This project is not affiliated with Hydro-Quebec.
